This five-ounce 99.99% pure silver coin features the iconic maple leaf with a peak relief height of 3mm, significanlty higher than the standard 0.80 mm for a coin this size. Unique to the 2023 5oz UHR SML is a laser-engraved field pattern to mark the SML's 35th anniversary! This pattern consists of seven small maple leaves and the number "35", which repeat five times for a total of 35 mini SMLs that form each ring-one mini leaf for ever year since the first SML was issued in 1988.
